Southeast Region Umpire Alumni Association
The Southeast Region Umpire Alumni Association is for any umpire that was selected to any level of a Southern (pre-2003) or Southeast Baseball or Softball Region Tournament. There is NO FEE to join the association, once you have umpired a tournament game, you are automatically a member. The association’s focus is to recognize and form a brotherhood and sisterhood of volunteer umpires who have been a part of a Southern or Southeast Regional Tournament.
SRUAA members will receive an Association patch and membership card (with membership number) in the mail. Additionally members will be eligible for a 10% discount to attend the Rules Seminar, Two-Umpire Mechanics Clinic, Four-Umpire Mechanics Clinic and Umpire Instructor Workshop held at the Region Headquarters. Membership number must be entered during registration.
Mission Statement
The Southeast Region Umpire Alumni Association (SRUAA) celebrates the achievements of our Umpires and is dedicated to upholding the tradition of excellence established by the Southeast Region. The SRUAA will accomplish this mission by:
- Adopting a culture of continuous improvement by promoting Local/State/Regional training opportunities designed to improve rules knowledge and mechanics.
- Coordinating fellowship and network opportunities to strengthen relationships between Alumni Members and the Region.
- Valuing a belief of selflessness and responsibility to grow the game and grow the ranks.
SRUAA members will be a guiding hand for new umpires and encourage them to strive for selection to Regional and World Series Level Baseball and Softball tournaments. The SRUAA will offer mentorship to any umpire selected to a higher-level tournament.
SRUAA Breakfast!
The Southeast Region Umpire Alumni annual breakfast will be at the Southeast Region Office on August 3rd at 9:30am. That is the Saturday during the Little League baseball regional tournament. All you alumni’s out there plan to come and have a great breakfast and fellowship with fellow alumni’s then stay for a game or two.
Registration will be open soon at a cost of $5.00 per person.
